Ducati India has started accepting bookings for the Panigale V2 Black in India. This is the iconic red Panigale V2 dipped in an aggressive yet subtle black colour scheme. I can go on and on about the paint job, because the bike looks amazing with the whole gloss black paint with red stickering on the fuel tank, fairing as well as wheels, it almost feels like a beautifully done custom wrap, except it’s from the manufacturer.
This colour will surely attract those who find the Ducati Red colour a bit LOUD and want to be more subtle like Batman. (You’ll look cool screaming “I’m Vengeance while riding this Black Panigale at night)
Apart from the paint, there are no other changes. Just for a quick recap the Panigale V2 is powered by a 955 cc, liquid-cooled, L-twin engine that generates 155 hp at 10750 RPM and 104 Nm at 9,000 RPM. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission.
Talking about the Chassis, the Panigale V2 sports an aluminium monocoque frame that uses a 43 mm fully adjustable USD fork suspension at the front and a fully adjustable Sachs monoshock. The bike moves around with the help of 17-inch wheels with Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II tyres. Braking is handled by twin 320 mm twin discs with Brembo Monobloc M 4.32 calipers at the front and a 245 mm disc at the back.
The bike is also loaded with lots of features such as ride modes, power modes, cornering ABS, traction control, engine brake control, engine brake control and more all of these features can be accessed through the colour TFT display.
With such aerodynamics and chassis, the Ducati Panigale V2 is truly a proper supersport and it’s made for fast lanes and corners around racetracks. The bike remains a dream for many and in India, enthusiasts and fans can buy it for Rs 20.68 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
