New Bajaj CNG Bike Spied Again Name Hinted

The news that a Bajaj CNG motorcycle is currently under development is not new, but what’s new is the fact that we have now got a launch date for it along with a closer look revealing some of its design elements. Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director of Bajaj Auto has announced that the CNG bike will go live on June 18 and with just a month left, the bike has been spotted testing yet again and this time the test mule has revealed some pretty interesting design details.

Bajaj CNG BIKE TO LAUNCH SOON

That’s not all. We also got to know the possible name for it. The CNG bike will probably be named “Bruzer” as Bajaj has filed a trademark for it. Going by it, the upcoming Bruzer will get a retro design which includes a round headlamp, a big tank and a flat seat. Leaked Blueprints hints that the CNG will be placed in a tank under the rider’s seat, protected by a tabular steel cradle frame.

Bajaj has given the engine a sloper stule due to its layout and the additional space it leaves out. Furthermore, the bike can be seen sporting parts like a tall fly-screen and hand guards, although it is yet to be seen whether these will be available as standard or be available as accessories.

While the Indicators seem to be halogen units, the headlamp and taillamp seem to be LEDs. The Bruzer can also be seen sporting a twin five-spoke alloy wheel design along with block-pattern tyres suitable for uneven terrain. The bike is seen to get a disc at the front and a drum at the rear while the suspension is handled by a telescopic fork and mono-shock setup. The Bruzer overall appears to be quite well equipped with enough hardware to tackle the rugged roads in rural areas.

With its reputation for competitive pricing which is also seen even on the bigger Pulsar NS400Z and Triumph Speed 400, Bajaj will likely continue the tradition and price the Bruzer at a very affordable rate since the bike will be rugged commuter. However, where the Bruzer stands in the 125cc lineup will only be answered on its launch day on June 18.
